Schira Art Raffle Ticket
For the month of September, we are giving one lucky gin fan the chance to win 'Winter Leaves' by the amazing Schira Withers valued at $1,400. Schira originally hails from Ireland and now spends time between Christchurch and Akaroa. She has been passionate about design all of her adult life, whilst being a primary school teacher. In 2019 she chose to journey a creative pathway. Schira's art is an energetic expression of her passion for nature and the human response to it's environment.
Tickets are $5 for one entry. All proceeds of the ticket sales will be donated to the Akaroa School.
The winner will be drawn on 2nd October.
The artwork is as shown or is available to view at the Akaroa Craft Distillery Tasting House at 45 Rue Lavaud. $5 gives you the chance to support Akaroa School and win a piece of fantastic art.
Giving Back
We are delighted to announce a partnership with the New Zealand Whale and Dolphin Trust. The trust is a world-class, research driven organisation who are totally committed to the conservation of New Zealand’s whales and dolphins. Their research includes population surveys, studies of whale and dolphin reproduction, survival and human impacts.
We are proud to be giving back to the conservation of the Hector’s dolphins by donating a portion of our Hector’s Gin sale proceeds from our Tasting House to the New Zealand Whale and Dolphin Trust to aid their continuing good work with the preservation of our Hector’s dolphin friends.
